GENUINE Michael Jackson memorabilia could now be worth a fortune - and BBC One Bargain Hunt expert James Braxton believes now is the time to buy.
He says: "Michael Jackson is a strong artist, his star will continue to shine.
"I think there will be an immediate rush for memorabilia now.
"It will then have a little trough and then it will continue to rise in value again. My advice is buy now."
At the Las Vegas auction, erroneously billed The David Gest Collection and held the day after Jacko died, 21 pieces of memorabilia fetched £124,000.
The top-selling item was a crystal beaded shirt worn by the singer during his 1984 Victory tour. It sold for £32,000.
And by Saturday on web auction site eBay, on a special Remembering The King Of Pop page, there were more than 45,000 Jackson-related items ranging from dolls to ticket stubs, stickers to clothing and thousands upon thousands of albums.
James adds: "When someone dies, it's a bit like turning off a tap. Collectors and fans know there will be no more Michael Jackson items now.
"Anything in circulation suddenly increases in value by 25-30 per cent.
"Jackson will be up there now with Elvis and John Lennon."
